WS-BPEL 2.0 and Oasis Standard

pencil icon, that"s clickable to start editing the post

Well it's standards time at Oasis, on 12 April 2007 Oasis annonced that it's members have approved the Web Services Business Process Execution Language (WS-BPEL) version 2.0 as an OASIS Standard. I new got into the former version but I expect this to be important since there is much focus at the process level of SOA and standards that support that are needed, and even bette all the big companies seem to support it, guanteering that it's actually be supported by products at some time.

At the homepage of OASIS Web Services Business Process Execution Language (WSBPEL) TC there is only links (not clickable) to the Committee Specification, but as I read it I hasn't changed to the final standard (do they ever?):

The specification may not have been changed between its approval as a Committee Specification and its submission to OASIS for consideration as an OASIS Standard, except for the changes on the title page and running footer noting the approval status and date.

Here they are and clickable:

There's also a promising intro under the headline Want to learn more about WS BPEL 2.0? that I'll hopefully get some time to look into later.
